With all that is going on in the world due to the repercussions of the COVID-19 era, I’ve felt it extra important to back up from it all, sit on my front porch, and just look out and ask God for a fresh perspective on life and the world.
He is faithful to bring me back to the basics. To just look out and see the natural beauty and beautiful blue sky. Taking notice of the pretty butterfly fluttering by. And to look up and ask God how can I not take sides in a divided world, but rather, stand up as an individual for love. Show love. Be love and kindness to all.
Isn’t that the most important thing? To receive love from Him and then give it out?!
What if that was what actually softened the divide. What if that actually was what healed our land?
That is something I can do. It’s a wonderful world we live in and I’m thankful I get to live in it.
